If Lulu.com ever gets off its collective butt and gets me my IBSN'd proof copy of Hilltown, that will be ready to go.
But the .pdf download is ready to go already. No IBSN for a download because a download isn't a B. Can't issue an IBSN for a non-B, apparently.
Teph has been trying to get the website at http://www.flankers-tale.com up and running properly. For which, thanks. I have no idea how to do it myself.
There's still some stuff to do, but Hilltown's chapters are all up there for you to read. Or your friends. Or your friends' friends. Wheee! The "store" button isn't up yet, but the news currently heading the page contains a link to the Lulu page. People can buy the hardcover book there, or the .pdf download of the complete text.
I want the version of Hilltown on my site to be a worthy present. Nothing I hate more than a present, like free software or a free song, that turns out to be only a trial version. The files on my website are only html-ish text, and therefore kind of plain. I do hope nobody feels cheated by this format, or by having to go to Lulu for the full .pdf

At least I got the Creative Commons license selected, and (acting as Teph's remote control as she told me how, keystroke by keystroke) entered across the bottom of the page. Creative Commons. A cool idea, that. Fie on DRM!
