Today a friend who had been on vacation outside the country came by and dropped a big cigar on my desk.
"What's this?"
"A good cigar. Right out of Fidel's humidor."
I thought about that for quite a while. I didn't know for sure what he meant, but I suspect he was trying to hint that it was a cuban cigar. If so, it was illegal for me to posess.
So as soon as I got home I went out on the front porch, set fire to the suspect cigar, and let it smoulder away. Of course a good cigar won't burn efficiently on its own, so I had to puff on it from time to time to keep it going.
It was my duty as a patriotic American to destroy this contraband. I'm sure you can see that I had no other choice.
