(no subject)

I never thought B-movie posters, splintered skis, and busted cameras were especially appetizing. But somebody must think so; otherwise, why would the Authentic Old Junk to Hang on Restaurant Walls trade be one of the fastest-growing industries in the world?

I wonder where they make this stuff? Is there a factory in Taiwan turning out weathered snowshoes and corroded Arvin tube-type portable radios? Must be. There can't be that much REAL old junk around.

Anyhow, the fad has reached the Big Boy here in town. They now have on display a fine collection of 50 and 100-pound lard tins.

Further comment would be superfluous.

Except to mention that dilligent inspection has proven that not one of them is Helvetica-brand lard.
