The Four Kitties of the Apocalypse

hafocDeath is easy. The ghost cat, who jumps on our bed when the doors are closed and no cat can get into our room, must be Death.
Patches starts fights all the time. She's the biker cat, she's definitely got this in-your-face sort of attitude, so she makes a pretty good War.
Shadow puts things in other things, drags things around, jumps on things and knocks them over, races around the house, walks on your face when you're trying to sleep, etc. etc. etc. So I can accept her as Pestilence.
But that leaves Penny as Famine, and that's completely inappropriate. She's basically a self-activated upholstered cinder block.
She knows famine. She was a woods kitty, brought to my place by weekend people who had been feeding her all weekend but had to go home now. They'd heard I worked for Environmental Quality, and we take care of stray cats, right? That's why she's an indoor cat now, especially in winter. She's been outside. Bad things happen outside. She's not going for it.
And she eats a lot, just in case. So she's not famine. What is she?
But then, perhaps the Four Kitties of the Apocalypse aren't the same as the Four Horsemen. And perhaps Penny's been telling us, in Feline, what her proper name is.
So meet the Four Kitties of the Apocalypse: Death, War, Pestilence, and MmmMEPK!
