Comment to McDonald's
Mar. 18th, 2011 05:55 pmI ordered two large shakes. When I got them, I saw they had been placed in a spiffy new transparent cup that made it easy to identify the contents by color. However, the main thing it showed me was that my "large" shakes were actually somewhat smaller than a true medium.
I could also see that the shake container was topped with some sort of aerosol slime, which I presume was meant to impersonate whipped cream, and some unidentifiable red lump which I believe was meant to represent a cherry.
It is notable that the price for this concoction was as high as it would have been had the "large" shake actually been large. I presume this is because the high price of oil drove up the cost of whatever weird petrochemicals went into the aerosol slime and the red lump.
Oh well, there are other places I can go for a milkshake.
