I am furious. Just furious.
North of my home a short distance is Mackinaw Island, a historical site and State Park (most of the island, anyway) where motorized traffic has been banned since 1901 or so. Vehicles are horse-drawn. This leads to a ready supply of horse poo on the streets of the island's little town.
Tourists, known around here as Fudgies due to all the fudge shops they frequent (the fudge shops themselves started on Mackinaw Island too and have spread from there) apparently find horse poo to be novel and hilarious. So the Honest Businessmen of Mackinaw Island have for years been selling vacuum-packed Mackinaw Island Road Apples to the tourists. They'll even send a Turd-O-Gram to your friends back home. If the recipient isn't a friend, they'll package it with a fork.
And now this.
Not content with destroying the Detroit auto industry, now the Japanese are taking over the shrink-wrapped poo industry too. Will they leave us NOTHING?
