After all these years, I've finally come to realize how much I meant to you. No lover ever longed to see me as much as you did. I was the light in your eyes, the spring in your step, the center of your being. You were always sad when I was away. You would do anything, anything, to be near me again. Because in any time that you couldn't watch me try to fight back the tears as you tortured me, you were nothing at all.
